The Australian Rugby Union's program for secondary schools has two options available for schools to choose from through Sporting Schools.
Foxtel Touch7s introduces participants to the skills and core values required to play traditional rugby XVs and 7s, in a fun, safe, non-contact environment.
The ideal Foxtel Touch7s program has a mix of skills and field based sessions, culminating in a non – contact school carnival celebrating all that has been learnt over the course of the program.
Schools Rugby 7s is aimed at students that are interested in learning the specific skills and competencies on how to play Rugby 7s.
The program introduces students to a fun, fast format of rugby and expands on the student’s abilities, learning techniques in a safe environment with a qualified coach.
Class sessions can include a mix of Rugby 7s skills, modified match play and game practice.

Rugby Victoria also offers a series of School 7s Gala Days during the year where schools can put their skills and training into play against other schools from their region and through success compete in the Schools 7s State Championships. The dates of these tournaments can be accessed through the Rugby Victoria event calendar.
