Elizabeth started to play rugby by accident in the mid 1990s filling in for the Sharjah Wanders who were short a front rower while she was working in the United Arab Emirates.  Three weeks later she was playing a women’s demonstration game at the Dubai 7’s.

Since falling into the game Liz has played for Happy Valley in Hong Kong - where she also played in the Hong Kong 7s tournament - and joined Melbourne University on moving to Melbourne. Liz has also represented Victoria on a number of occasions.

Now based in Gippsland, Liz has remained a passionate follower of the game since her retirement and is keen to see its growth into regional Victoria.

Liz is a Civil and Environmental Engineer and currently works for the Country Fire Authority.
