U8 – U10
Victorian Rugby run a non-competition age group from 8 years old to 10 years old in a fun format for all abilities. These non-competitions are run for the purpose of introducing the sport of rugby, with an emphasis of having fun and everyone getting involved, rather then winning.
This is a great way to get your child involved in the great game of rugby in a safe and positive environment.
U11-U18 is structured competition rugby. All teams play in a round-robin competition which lead to a finals series in August/September.
The competitions cater for all who wish to get involved with the game, with many age groups broken down into "A" and "B" competitions.

The new competitions will be for U11s (ages 6-11) and U15s (ages 12-15) and will be played in the Touch 7s format. This will build on the female rugby pathway in Victoria after the creation of the U17 Girls 7s, which has run in previous years and will continue to in 2018.
